Technical Business Analyst Consultant / Senior Consultant

Location: Remote with occasional travel

Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 per annum

Level: Consultant / Senior Consultant

Clearance: Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance and have 5 years UK residency.

The Role

We are hiring for Consultant and Senior Consultant Technical Business Analysts to support clients in defining future business models, shaping digital transformation programmes, and delivering successful change initiatives.

This role combines business analysis, stakeholder engagement, project delivery, and transformation consulting across a range of public and private sector clients working with technical architects.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and assess new business demand, validating strategic fit, benefits, scope, and timelines
• Lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and early-stage project scoping activities
• Engage stakeholders at all levels to define, document, and validate business needs
• Support delivery of change initiatives using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
• Create business models, process maps, system documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience in Business Analysis, Change Delivery, Transformation Consulting, or Project Delivery
• Strong stakeholder management skills across junior to senior leadership levels
• Ability to analyse processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Experience managing small project teams and third-party suppliers
• Strong documentation skills including requirements, process flows, system models, and user journeys
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments

Desirable

• Consulting experience within a major consultancy or complex matrix organisation
• Experience supporting bids, proposals, or business development activity
• Certifications such as BCS Business Analysis, Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma
