Typescript Full Stack Engineer

Working with a Large IT Consultancy who are on the search for typescript Full Stack Engineers who have extensive experience in building microservices with Node.js.

Salary - up to £55,000 per annum

Remote with occasional client visits

Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance

Your Role

As a TypeScript Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality digital solutions for our clients. You'll combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of business value to develop innovative, scalable applications. Working across a diverse range of projects, you'll have the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technologies such as React, Next.js, Vite, Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, RESTful microservices, and NoSQL databases.

You'll collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams, working closely with stakeholders to build impactful digital products that drive business transformation. We value innovation, professional growth, and a user-centric approach to problem-solving.

Your Profile

Required Skills:

✔️ Extensive experience in building microservices with Node.js

✔️ Strong front-end development skills using React, JavaScript/TypeScript

✔️ Experience with Next.js and Vite

✔️ Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure

✔️ Hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose

✔️ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins)

✔️ Strong understanding of Git and version control best practices

✔️ Experience working in agile development environments

Desirable Skills:

🔹 Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

🔹 Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred) or SQL databases (Postgres)

🔹 Knowledge of web standards, accessibility, and development best practices

Bonus Skills:

🚀 Experience developing microservices in C# or Java

🚀 Building solutions integrating with LLMs (Vercel AI, Langchain, etc.)

🚀 Experience working with the GOV.UK Design System and Nunjucks
