Technical Account Manager (TAM) - Newcastle (Hybrid fully flexible)

We are seeking a proactive, technically proficient, and client-focused Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join a growing team supporting our most strategic client.

Based in Newcastle (hybid flexible working), this role requires a professional who can blend deep technical knowledge with exceptional relationship management to ensure client success and drive value, maximising long term revenue opportunities.

The Role: Technical Account Manager

As the dedicated Technical Account Manager, you will act as the primary technical point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of enterprise clients across the UK. Your focus will be on effective client management and development, maximising product adoption, mitigating technical risk, and ensuring our clients achieve their long-term strategic objectives as well as maxamising revenue growth, effective financial performance and effective reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Technical Partnership: Build and maintain deep, long-term relationships with key technical and business stakeholders (up to C-level) within your assigned accounts.
  • Adoption & Optimisation: Drive successful product utilisation and deep integration into client environments by recommending best practices, technical roadmaps, and feature deployment strategies.
  • Technical Escalation Management: Serve as the internal advocate and primary escalation point for complex technical issues, coordinating resolutions across Engineering, Product, and Support teams based in Newcastle and remotely.
  • Proactive Risk Mitigation: Conduct regular technical health checks, operational reviews, and capacity planning to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact the client's business.
  • Maxamising revenue growth, cross selling and identifying new opportunities.
  • Feedback Loop: Capture, document, and champion client feature requests and technical requirements to inform the internal product development roadmap.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven Experience in a client-facing Technical Account Manager within a software solutions environment.
  • Strong Technical Acumen.
  • Experience of effective revenue generation and growth
  • Ability to translate complex technical issues and concepts into clear, concise business language for non-technical executives and stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical with a track record of driving complex, cross-functional technical issues to successful resolution under pressure.
