Technical Delivery Lead - UK REMOTE

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and collaborative Director-level candidate to lead the delivery of data centre design and engineering projects across Europe. This is a leadership role within a specialist data centre team that works on both Hyperscale and Colocation projects, partnering with clients across the continent.

You will be the primary point of contact for a key client, overseeing the technical delivery, commercial governance, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.

This position offers the opportunity to influence and shape the future of data centre delivery within a global infrastructure and engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of data centre design projects from a delivery, technical, and commercial standpoint.
  • Act as client interface at a senior/director level, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and strategic alignment.
  • Manage commercial performance, internal governance, and compliance with company processes.
  • Coordinate project delivery across internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring integration across AEC, MEP, Civil, and Structural disciplines.
  • Drive technical excellence, consistency, and quality across all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Chair internal and external strategic meetings, and report key project metrics to senior leadership.
  • Oversee resource allocation, risk management, and issue resolution throughout project execution.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Chartered Engineer or equivalent with a deep technical background in the data centre sector.
  • Strong experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary design teams across architecture and engineering disciplines.
  • Proven track record of client engagement at senior levels, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially astute, with experience managing risk, compliance, and profitability.
  • Willing to travel across the UK, Ireland, and Europe as required for project and client engagement.
  • Experience working in fast-paced project environments with global collaboration and digital workflows.

Key Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of building systems, regulations, and construction methods.
  • Comfortable using tools such as Revit, Microsoft Office, and collaborative project platforms.
  • Valid UK/EU driving license.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects concurrently.
