Mechanical Labourer

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Labourer to join our client - an Electrical Equipment Manufacturer in the West of Glasgow. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, assembling mechanical parts in to full products and fitting copper components.

Occasional site work across the country may be required, and the successful candidate will be responsible for completing assemblies ready for dispatch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven experience in a similar role within an assembly environment.

Knowledge of electrical testing or electrical equipment assembly is advantageous, and a full driving license would be preferable.

• Proven experience in a similar Mechanical Labourer or Mechanical Technician role
• Experience with assembly of electrical equipment
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Comfort working in small or confined spaces
• Electrical testing experience (beneficial)
• Full, clean driving license (desirable)

Enjoy a 4-day working week from Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 5:00pm, with long weekends every weekend.

The role offers a competitive salary between £30,000 and £34,000 per annum, plus the opportunity to grow within a reputable manufacturing environment.
