Data Analyst

This is a newly created role where you will be at the forefront of our data journey. Collaborating closely with our Digital & Change Service team as we define and shape our data landscape, documenting every step of our journey towards maturity. Your expertise will be invaluable as we navigate this transformative phase to meet our evolving needs.

You will lead the way in data integration laying the groundwork for our systems to operate harmoniously throughout our maturity journey. You'll be used to be working in ambiguity and have a keen eye for detail and knack for data modelling and governance.

Your role

You'll collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to dive deep into our data sources, destinations, and transformations, crafting comprehensive documentation that serves as our roadmap to success. With your expertise, you'll support Architecture in shaping transformation and integration activities, developing solutions that align with both technical and business requirements.

But it's not just about the technicalities your passion for promoting best practices and upholding data governance standards will be crucial. You'll develop data quality processes, monitoring adherence and proactively resolving any issues that may arise.

You'll be the driving force behind creating and maintaining integration documentation, ensuring smooth data flow across systems. Leveraging your data modelling skills, you'll design frameworks that empower our Change Delivery team to build and maintain end-to-end data solutions in line with our overarching data strategy.

About You

  • Experience in many areas of Data Governance and Management including policies and frameworks, data catalogues dictionaries and models, data quality, meta data management and master data management.
  • Proficient in database management, integration design, and data modelling techniques, including SQL, UML, and object-oriented modelling.
  • Experienced in managing large-scale development projects with a data emphasis, utilizing agile and waterfall methodologies, and familiarity with MDM, ETL, and CRM systems.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively within teams to drive digital strategies forward.
