We’re partnering with a high-growth B2B SaaS business to find a commercially minded Category Manager/Buyer to curate product ranges for client reward programmes.
This isn’t a traditional Category Manager role. You’re not negotiating supplier terms or owning a fixed category. Instead, you’ll curate from an existing product universe to build tailored, promotion-specific gift catalogues that balance customer appeal, commercial outcomes and operational feasibility

This role is built for someone who t hrives in a fast-moving, commercial environment where product judgement matters and detail makes the difference.
You’ll work closely with Account Managers and clients, shaping product ranges for live promotions, responding to demand, and constantly refining selections based on performance, insight, and operational reality. You’ll see the immediate effect of your choices on campaigns, client satisfaction, and commercial results, no quarterly reporting cycles, just real-world impact every day.

🧠 What you’ll own
- Product and category curation for client campaigns and promotional catalogues
- Commercial product decisions, balancing appeal, margin, availability and delivery constraints
- Client-facing collaboration, advising on product strategy and selection
- Campaign-ready product ranges, ensuring relevance, clarity and performance across multiple live promotions
- Performance insight, analysing what customers choose and why
- Trend awareness, staying close to product demand and market shifts
- Cross-functional coordination, working with Account Managers and operations teams
- Risk and opportunity identification, adjusting ranges proactively
- Data-driven refinement, improving product mixes based on results
- International exposure, travelling and supporting US client activity and relationship building
👀 What we’re looking for
- 3+ years’ experience in a buyer, category, merchandising or product marketing role
- Strong commercial instinct and understanding of product performance and margin
- Genuine interest in consumer and product trends (e.g. social, online, retail)
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with confidence using data and spreadsheets
- Energised by scale-ups. Thrive on pace, autonomy and responsibility
- Comfortable working across time zones and occasional US travel
- Experience in promotions, loyalty, physical goods or fulfilment-led businesses is a strong plus.)
