We’re working with a fast-growing, PE-backed SaaS business currently scaling its commercial and go-to-market function.
The business is investing heavily into its mid-market and enterprise capability, with a strong focus on improving deal quality, conversion, and overall sales performance.
The Opportunity
This is a customer-facing Pre-Sales / Solutions Consultant role, supporting both mid-market and enterprise deals.
You’ll play a key role in:
- Driving technical discovery
- Running product demonstrations
- Translating customer requirements into tailored solutions
- Supporting Account Executives to progress and close opportunities
This is a commercially aligned pre-sales role, not a back-office technical position.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting sales cycles across mid-market and enterprise opportunities
Leading:
- Discovery sessions
- Product demonstrations
- Technical discussions
- Translating customer needs into clear, value-led solutions
Partnering closely with AEs to:
- Shape deals
- Handle objections
- Progress opportunities
Collaborating with internal teams across product, delivery, and commercial functions
What “Good” Looks Like
Must-Have:
- Experience in pre-sales / sales engineering within SaaS
- Strong customer-facing communication skills
- Experience supporting multi-stakeholder deals
Key Traits:
- Commercially aware (understands how deals are won)
- Strong communicator across technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable operating in a scaling, less structured environment
- Collaborative and aligned with sales teams
Not a Fit
- Purely technical / back-end engineers
- Solution architects with no commercial exposure
- Candidates without customer-facing experience

Compensation
- Base: ~£70k–£90k (flexible depending on experience)
- Bonus: Performance-based
