The Company

We’re working with a fast-growing, PE-backed SaaS business currently scaling its commercial and go-to-market function.

The business is investing heavily into its mid-market and enterprise capability, with a strong focus on improving deal quality, conversion, and overall sales performance.

The Opportunity

This is a customer-facing Pre-Sales / Solutions Consultant role, supporting both mid-market and enterprise deals.

You’ll play a key role in:

  • Driving technical discovery
  • Running product demonstrations
  • Translating customer requirements into tailored solutions
  • Supporting Account Executives to progress and close opportunities

This is a commercially aligned pre-sales role, not a back-office technical position.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting sales cycles across mid-market and enterprise opportunities

Leading:

  • Discovery sessions
  • Product demonstrations
  • Technical discussions
  • Translating customer needs into clear, value-led solutions

Partnering closely with AEs to:

  • Shape deals
  • Handle objections
  • Progress opportunities

Collaborating with internal teams across product, delivery, and commercial functions

What “Good” Looks Like

Must-Have:

  • Experience in pre-sales / sales engineering within SaaS
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills
  • Experience supporting multi-stakeholder deals

Key Traits:

  • Commercially aware (understands how deals are won)
  • Strong communicator across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable operating in a scaling, less structured environment
  • Collaborative and aligned with sales teams

Not a Fit

  • Purely technical / back-end engineers
  • Solution architects with no commercial exposure
  • Candidates without customer-facing experience

Compensation

  • Base: ~£70k–£90k (flexible depending on experience)
  • Bonus: Performance-based
