Clinical Product Manager

Clinical Product Manager – Doctor / Physician | Digital Health

Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 DOE
Location: London | Hybrid Working
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Flexible working arrangements considered

You're a doctor who understands how healthcare works. What if you could help shape the technology that makes it work better?

Whether you're an NHS doctor considering a move into Digital Health or already working in healthcare technology, this could be an opportunity to take your career in an exciting new direction.

Stone Tide Recruitment is representing an established UK healthcare technology company seeking a Clinical Product Manager to help shape and develop software used by NHS organisations.

We're looking for someone who can combine genuine medical knowledge with an understanding of technology, strong communication skills and a passion for improving healthcare.

Two Backgrounds We're Particularly Interested In

1. NHS Doctors Looking to Move into Digital Health

You've built valuable clinical experience and understand the challenges healthcare professionals face every day.

Perhaps you've been involved in digital transformation, clinical systems, service improvement, healthcare IT projects or implementing new technology.

You may not have held a formal Product Manager title, but you understand clinical workflows, can identify problems and have the ability to help turn ideas into practical solutions.

Your medical experience is valuable. This is an opportunity to apply it beyond direct patient care.

2. Doctors Already Working in Digital Health

You're medically qualified and already working in HealthTech, clinical informatics, healthcare software or product development.

You understand how technology can support clinical teams and want greater involvement in product decisions, development priorities and shaping solutions that genuinely improve healthcare delivery.

This is an opportunity to build on your experience and influence the development of established healthcare technology.

What You'll Be Doing

Working closely with product leadership, NHS stakeholders and software development teams, you'll help translate real clinical challenges into effective technology solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding clinical workflows and identifying opportunities to improve software.

  • Translating NHS customer requirements into clear product requirements and user stories.

  • Working with developers and product teams to design, test and deliver improvements.

  • Helping prioritise new functionality and contribute to product development plans.

  • Acting as a credible clinical voice, ensuring technology reflects the needs of healthcare professionals.

  • Communicating effectively across clinical, technical and commercial teams.

What We're Looking For

A medical background is essential, along with genuine interest and relevant exposure to healthcare technology.

We're particularly interested in people who offer:

  • A medical qualification and strong understanding of NHS environments.

  • Experience or demonstrable involvement in digital health, clinical IT, technology implementation, clinical informatics or product development.

  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with clinicians, developers and senior stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical thinking, curiosity and problem-solving abilities.

  • An understanding of how software products are developed, improved or implemented.

  • A proactive mindset and willingness to challenge assumptions constructively.

Formal Product Management experience is advantageous, but not essential. We're equally interested in doctors who have developed relevant skills through clinical technology projects and digital transformation.

Why Make the Move?

If you're coming from the NHS: This could be your opportunity to transition into the growing Digital Health sector without leaving your medical knowledge and experience behind.

If you're already in HealthTech: It's an opportunity to broaden your product experience, work closely with product leadership and have a meaningful influence on healthcare software.

Either way, you'll be joining an established business where your clinical expertise can help improve technology used by healthcare professionals.

Interested? Let's Talk.

You don't need to have followed a conventional career path to be considered.

If you're a doctor with an interest in technology and the experience to contribute, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
