IT Solution Support Manager

Stonewater are seeking an IT Solution Support Manager - someone to manage a team of analysts to deliver the customer promise by ensuring an excellent level of service is provided to our customers and that application service availability meets the organisations service level requirements.

You will provide expert support, advice and guidance on business applications and systems and ensure they are fit for purpose, stable, and ensure continuous improvement in performance and value for money within the Solution Support function, in line with the Stonewater IT strategy.

Acting as a thought leader on our selected business solutions, researching and reviewing industry best practice and upcoming changes to technology, you will configure and manage software, technologies, and controls and support internal teams and suppliers in the secure configuration of software and systems.

This role will be at the forefront in ensuring the availability of the business applications whilst also supporting the changes necessary for the business to evolve as an innovative, digitally focused housing association!

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a degree in computer related vocation (or similar proven experience) and an ITIL qualification.
  • Have proven working knowledge of Microsoft Software / Salesforce / D365 F&O / Power Apps & Automation / SQL / Sharepoint / O365 products / Collaboration Tools.
  • Have an excellent understanding of applications within the housing sector.
  • Be an excellent communicator, able to positively lead a team, mentoring them to develop their own skills, knowledge levels and ensuring ownership of issues and requests.
  • Have an interest of emerging technologies and continuous professional development.
  • Have proven experience in supporting IT based projects delivered using a structured methodology.
  • Be able to adapt to a continually changing environment with a significant program of business change.
  • Have proven experience of applying analytical skills to complex technical and business processes and recommend solutions - focussing on successful delivery of outcomes.
  • Be able to develop and share knowledge with other team members and promote a performance-based culture within the team.
  • Experience of IT Governance and ITIL processes including Change & Release management.

Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
