Artificial Intelligence Consultant

We’re looking for a cross between a Product Manager, Customer Succes Manager and Client Services Manager.

You must be able to travel to Oxfordshire at least once a week, ideally with your own car.

This role is all about communicating the benefits of AI to clients, building them workflows that improve efficiencies and allowing their staff to do more, with less.

We’re working with an innovative marketing agency who have recently developed an AI platform that solves many of their clients problems.

They require an AI Product Manager (or similar) to help them communicate the benefits, improve uptake and evolve the product in line with individual business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with clients and internal stakeholders to identify business challenges and suggest suitable AI led solutions
  • Translate requirements into clear product briefs, specifications, and structured deliverables
  • Define AI workflows, orchestration strategies, and agent interactions (at a conceptual level)
  • Collaborate closely with developers and AI engineers to guide delivery
  • Own and prioritise the AI product roadmap
  • Identify scalable, repeatable solutions across multiple clients
  • Ensure alignment with platform strategy, governance, and best practices
  • Act as the central link between commercial, product, and technical teams
  • Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and integrate relevant innovations

Qualifications

AI Expertise (Essential):

  • Proven experience working with applied AI systems
  • Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent-based workflows
  • Experience with AI automation and orchestration across tools/models
  • Awareness of AI governance, risk, and security considerations

Product & Delivery:

  • Experience as a Product Manager (or similar) in a technical environment
  • Strong ability to write clear product requirements and specifications
  • Skilled at translating complex challenges into structured solutions
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, and system architecture (high-level)

Stakeholder & Mindset:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable in client-facing, consulting-led environments
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on scalability and long-term value
  • Enjoys defining solutions rather than building them directly
