Key Responsibilities:
Lead shift operations and ensure completion of both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
Own and manage the campus emergency lighting maintenance and testing schedules.
Survey, quote, and deliver minor electrical works on-site.
Support the delivery of high-quality service aligned to best practice standards and client expectations.
Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with health and safety procedures and safe systems of work.
Provide technical guidance and supervision for sub-contractors and internal engineers.
Support continuous improvement and compliance with audit requirements.
Assist with escalations and coordinate high-priority task responses.
Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular updates to the engineering management team.

City & Guilds 2391 / 2395 Inspection and Testing
Emergency First Aid at Work
Previous experience in a critical/data centre environment is essential
Demonstrated understanding of Health and Safety and ability to oversee others
Strong technical knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems
Excellent communication skills and strong customer service mindset
Able to manage subcontractors and operate a permit-to-work system
Proficient with IT systems and able to work independently with minimal supervision
IOSH or NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification
AP15 High Voltage & AP14 Low Voltage certification
City & Guilds 2377 (PAT Testing)
