Senior Back-end Engineer
We're looking for an experienced Back-end Engineer/Architect to lead the development of a next-generation payment processing platform. You'll design and implement scalable, resilient microservices, optimise performance, and modernise our payment systems using cloud technologies and containerisation.
Required Skills
10+ years in back-end microservices development, mainly with Java, Go, or Rust
Expertise in distributed systems, Spring Boot, and application security
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and observability tools
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and SQL/databases
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience with financial payments, cyber security, and team mentoring
Qualifications
BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
15+ years' experience, with at least 10 focused on API and microservices architecture
