Location: London- Hybrid (minimum 2 days in office)
Day Rate: Market rate (Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Minimum 6 months
We are seeking a talented Data Architect to join our data-driven transformation journey. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as Data Vault, Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, and AWS/Azure, designing and delivering innovative data solutions that empower analytics and drive business value.
As a Data Architect, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners, engineers, and analytics teams to design, build, and maintain robust data models and architecture. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about creating order within complex data structures and delivering impactful, scalable data solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop enterprise data architecture and advanced data models that support business requirements.
Triaging new requirements, assessing impact, and providing estimates for updates to data models.
Develop and enhance physical data models while ensuring alignment with business and technical standards.
Act as custodian of data models, defining and enforcing modelling principles within delivery teams.
Ensure solutions meet business needs while aligning with the overall end-state architecture.
Document, communicate, and centrally manage data models to promote consistency and reuse.
Collaborate with the broader architecture community to share expertise and promote innovation.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, including machine learning, AI/ML, and modern algorithmic techniques at scale, applying best practices to data design.
Translate business requirements into actionable, scalable, and effective data solutions.
Strong experience in data architecture, modelling, and data warehousing.
Expertise with various modelling methodologies, including 3NF, Dimensional, and Data Vault.
Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and deliver actionable insights.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and experience with cloud data solutions/migrations.
Strong communication and influencing skills to engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
Exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI technologies.
Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or MicroStrategy.
