Role Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join a UK Product Team. You will work with modern technologies including Angular and AWS, contributing to client-facing solutions across Transfers and Onboarding journeys (ISA, SIPP, JISA, GA). The team operates using agile methodologies and a continuous delivery pipeline. This role requires a proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, attention to quality, and excellent communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver new business-facing solutions, reviewing functional specifications and translating them into technical requirements.
  • Support user acceptance testing and provide 3rd line support where necessary.
  • Follow coding and documentation standards, including peer reviews.
  • Work across multiple priorities with an agile and DevOps mindset.
  • Contribute to high-quality code with a strong focus on client experience.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team and with business stakeholders.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Background in Finance, Wealth Management, or Asset Management.
  • Strong experience with Angular 12+ and enterprise-level web applications.
  • Good knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC and RESTful APIs.
  • Proficient with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS and responsive design.
  • Experience with AWS serverless technologies (Step Functions, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB).
  • Unit testing experience using Jest or Jasmine; E2E testing with Playwright.
  • Experience integrating with microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Splunk for logging/monitoring.
  • Knowledge of NodeJS, NestJS and AEM beneficial.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience collaborating with developers, UX, product managers and operations.
  • Interest in pair programming and UX best practices.
  • Good understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Experience with GitHub.
  • Knowledge of the investment management domain.
