As an ODI Specialist, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing end-to-end data workflows. Your expertise will enable seamless extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes across various systems, including Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and cloud platforms. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability while adhering to best practices and standards. Your problem-solving skills will be key in troubleshooting issues and supporting production environments, ensuring high availability and efficiency of data operations.
Required Skills:
Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g/12c (mandatory)
Proficiency in ETL/ELT methodologies, data warehousing, and relational database design
Strong SQL and PL/SQL capabilities, including query performance tuning
ODI administration expertise: topology setup, security, agent configuration, and patching
Familiarity with Oracle databases, GoldenGate, and WebLogic environments
Experience integrating ODI with cloud applications such as Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM, SaaS, REST/SOAP APIs
Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to document technical processes
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience within Banking, Financial Services, or large-scale ERP/EPM/cloud projects
Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Cloud integrations, and API management
Exposure to automation and Scripting tools
Other Requirements:
Availability to work three days a week onsite in Milton Keynes
Ability to start from 1st October 2025 for a 6-month assignment
Compensation of £500 per day for the successful contractor
