The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ITIL-based release and change management, along with strong technical skills in Salesforce (SFDC), GitHub Actions, and server operations across Windows and Linux platforms.

Stratacent is seeking a seasoned Release Manager with a 8-10 years of experience in managing end-to-end release processes in complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ITIL-based release and change management, along with strong technical skills in Salesforce (SFDC), GitHub Actions, and server operations across Windows and Linux platforms.
Responsibilities –
- Own and manage the release lifecycle from planning through deployment and post-release support.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely releases.
- Oversee Change Management processes including creation, approval, implementation, and closure of changes.
- Manage and execute Salesforce (SFDC) deployments, including metadata migration and sandbox refreshes.
- Perform Salesforce Admin tasks, ensuring system integrity and compliance.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues across Windows and Linux environments.
- Maintain release documentation, including runbooks, rollback plans, and release notes.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and organizational standards.
- Conduct release readiness reviews and post-implementation audits.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), incident response plans, and knowledge base articles, to enable efficient incident resolution and problem diagnosis.
- 8+ years of experience in Release Management in enterprise IT environments.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, especially Change and Release Management.
- Hands-on experience with: Salesforce Administration and Deployment
- GitHub Actions for automation and CI/CD
- Windows and Linux OS troubleshooting and server management
- Proven ability to manage multiple releases across diverse platforms.
- Experience with ticketing and change management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)..
- Proficiency in developing automation and release management tools along with scripts necessary for the construction, continuous integration, and deployment of software release.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- ITIL certifications, such as ITIL Foundation, ITIL Practitioner, or ITIL Service Manager, are highly desirable.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification would be a plus
