Global Markets Operations Analyst - Structured Credit Sales & Trading Services

Strategic Staffing Solutions International's client is a leading global investment bank and financial services firm, known for working with top companies, governments, and institutions.

This position acts as a key control function between Sales, Trading, Clients, Technology, Compliance, and other Operations teams, ensuring smooth execution of trades and minimizing operational risk in a fast-paced trading environment. The role also contributes to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.

Duration: 12 Months

Location: London

Salary: £300-£350/day

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Client, Sales/Trading desks and other stakeholders to resolve any open questions/issues
• Become a subject matter expert to mitigate risk and drive efficiencies
• Manage real-time trade booking exceptions internally between the trading desk and sales force
• Monitor and control operational risk throughout the trade processing life cycle
• Collaborate with our technology and business partners to enhance systems and workflows
• Engage in various industry and regulatory initiatives in a constantly changing environment
• Collaborate with technology teams on the implementation of process flow improvements and efficiencies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn internal systems/tools
• 3-5+ years of experience in financial services, capital markets, or operations roles
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with trading, sales, and technical teams
• Exposure to fixed income, credit products, or structured finance instruments
• Experience working in trade support, middle office, or operations functions
• Familiarity with operational risk controls, reconciliations, and trade lifecycle processes
