The Role

Strictly Recruitment is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of key technology and systems initiatives at one of our dynamic law firm clients. This is a highly visible, stand-alone role with strong autonomy, working closely with senior stakeholders, business teams, and external suppliers to drive meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end IT and business systems projects aligned to the firm's technology strategy.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from business case and planning through to delivery and handover.
  • Identify and implement technology improvements to enhance business processes.
  • Ensure solutions align with existing systems and avoid unnecessary complexity.
  • Oversee project governance, including timelines, budgets, risks, and reporting.
  • Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Lead system implementations and integrations across platforms such as PMS, DMS, CRM, HR and finance systems.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Manage UAT, go-live readiness, and support user adoption.
  • Maintain oversight of the project portfolio, supporting prioritisation.

About You

  • Proven experience delivering IT and systems projects end-to-end.
  • Background in professional services (legal experience advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of business systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience managing suppliers and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Proficient in Power BI and workflow automation tools.
  • Good understanding of data security, integrations, and risk.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot).
  • Organised, pragmatic, and delivery-focused under pressure.
