React.js Developer - London
A leading global digital consultancy is seeking an experienced React.js Developer to join a high-profile client programme delivering modern, scalable digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain modern web applications using React.js
- Build and integrate robust APIs and Back End services
- Collaborate with architects, product owners and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable code
- Ensure solutions meet key Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), including performance, security, scalability and reliability
- Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions and architectural discussions
- Troubleshoot, optimise and enhance existing applications
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices
Required Skills & Experience
Strong commercial experience developing applications using React.js
Solid experience with Back End development using Java, Node.js or similar technologies
Strong experience designing, developing and consuming RESTful APIs
Proven experience delivering solutions with a focus on Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), including:
- Performance
- Scalability
- Security
- Resilience
- Availability
Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD and code quality
Experience working within cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS or GCP) would be advantageous
Desirable Experience
- Microservices architecture
- Containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise digital transformation programmes
