At SumUp, we help small businesses thrive with simple, smart financial tools. Now we’re looking for a driven Sales Assistant–type personality to join us as a Self-Employed Field Sales Consultant and bring our products directly to local merchants.

What You’ll Do

As a face-to-face Field Sales Consultant (ideal for someone with Sales Assistant experience) you’ll:

• Meet local business owners (cafés, barbers, salons, boutiques) and show them easier ways to take payments.
• Demo simple tools like card readers and POS devices and match them to each business’s needs.
• Plan your own territory, follow up with leads, and turn conversations into new customers.
• Build trust in your community and grow a strong referral network.

What Makes You a Great Fit

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have experience as a Sales Assistant or Field Sales Consultant, in retail, hospitality, customer service, or face-to-face sales.
• Enjoy meeting people and having real conversations.
• Are goal-driven, disciplined, and resilient.
• Love learning new products and explaining them simply.
• Know how to build relationships that lead to loyal customers.

What You’ll Earn

• 50% commission on payments, hardware, and software sales - plus 25% recurring income for up to 5 years.
• 75% commission in your first year, helping you earn quickly while you build your patch.
• Ongoing monthly revenue share that grows as your client base grows.

You’ll get hands-on sales training, product coaching, and support from a dedicated Territory Manager and a community of peers. Perfect for a motivated Sales Assistant or Field Sales Consultant looking to step into higher earning potential.
