Driven by sustained growth, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Control Engineer to join their team in Llanidloes.

Key Responsibilities
- Assembly & Programming: Assist in building control panels and develop robust PLC, HMI, and robotic control programmes.
- Testing & Commissioning: Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) in the workshop, followed by full on-site installation and system commissioning.
- Mentorship & Training: Guide and develop junior controls engineers while providing post-installation operational training to client staff.
- Support & Maintenance: Deliver client technical support, perform diagnostic breakdown analysis, and maintain detailed records of parts used.
- Documentation & Reporting: Produce concise technical documentation for customers and keep senior management updated on project milestones.
- Automation Expertise: Proven background in robotics and automation systems, with a strong understanding of mechanical design and machinery principles.
- Technical Software: Familiarity with Siemens PLCs and ABB robotic systems is highly desirable.
- Maintenance Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience handling reactive maintenance and small project delivery.
- Travel & Licensing: Valid Full UK Driving License, with full flexibility to travel and stay overnight across the UK (50% site time).
- Communication & Work Ethic: Proactive problem solver with excellent customer service skills, strong IT literacy, and the ability to work independently or within team environments.
- Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
