Senior Developer - Oxford based

We're Oxford’s fastest-growing AI startup, just over 1.5 years old and building a category-defining sales automation platform. We help businesses supercharge outbound sales by combining hyper-personalisation, AI, and a lot of human love, delivered through automation.

We've seen incredible traction with our no-code-first approach, built by a small team of junior developers. Now, we’re ready for the next chapter: transforming our no-code systems into robust, scalable products — and we need a Senior Developer to help us get there.

The opportunity

We’re looking for a more senior developer with a solid foundation in computer science, experience with no-code platforms, and an eye for scalable system design. You’ll work closely with both local and remote developers to enhance, extend, and strengthen our AI-driven platform. You’ll also play a pivotal role in shaping the technical future of Super Benji — bringing in best practices, mentoring the team, and turning our MVPs into world-class products.

Some of the things you'll be doing:

• Building out our core infrastructure, transitioning validated no-code tools into robust coded systems where needed.
• Integrating the latest AI tools into new products and internal automations.
• Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and maintainable software architecture.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across product, sales, and ops to prioritise and deliver impactful features.
• Mentoring junior developers and establishing best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.

What we're looking for:

• 4+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience to supervise and guide junior developers.
• Passion for AI and automation, with a curiosity for emerging tools and technologies.
• Strong background in computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, system design).
• Experience with no-code/low-code platforms and the ability to navigate them fluently.
• Experience with cURL, Postman or Swagger.
• Solid programming skills in C#, Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building and integrating APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. Firebase, AWS, GCP) and DevOps tools is a big plus.
• A builder’s mindset — ready to ship fast, learn, and improve continuously.
• Great communication skills and a collaborative, mentoring approach to teamwork.
