Vibe Coding Product Engineer (Oxford)
Location: Oxford (On-site)
Salary: from £45,000 depending on experience
Type: Full-time
We're Oxford's fastest-growing AI startup, almost two years old and building a category-defining sales automation platform. We help businesses supercharge outbound sales by combining hyper-personalisation, AI, and a lot of human love — delivered through automation.
Our first product has taken off, and now we're expanding into a suite of tools that enable clients to design, run, and optimise their outbound sales processes. To build these, we need someone who understands product thinking, sales workflows, and low-code prototyping.
We're looking for a Vibe Coding Product Engineer — a hands-on builder who combines product intuition with low-code engineering.
This is not a typical engineering role.
And it's not a traditional product owner role either.
It's perfect for someone who:
- Thinks like a product person
- Builds like a workflow engineer
- Understands (or is excited by) outbound sales
- Loves experimenting with AI, APIs, and low-code tools
- Ships fast, iterates fast, and learns fast
If you enjoy designing user flows, mapping sales journeys, and turning ideas into live features using Vibe coding and automation tools — you'll thrive here.
- Translate product direction and customer needs into structured workflows, prototypes, and real features.
- Build, optimise, and maintain automation logic using Make.com, ActivePieces, or similar tools.
- Build front-end interactions and product features using Vibe coding or other low-code environments.
- Understand and map sales processes to build features that meaningfully improve outbound performance.
- Research and experiment with APIs, AI models, and automation tools — and creatively integrate them into the product.
- Rapidly test ideas, ship proof-of-concepts, and help productionise the successful ones.
- Own the product backlog: clarify requirements, break down work, estimate scope, and define deliverables.
- Work directly with founders and stakeholders to shape features and validate ideas.
- Maintain workflow quality: clean logic, clear naming, fast execution, and reliable error handling.
- Monitor automations and resolve issues before they impact users.
- Work with UI/UX support to turn workflows into polished end-to-end experiences.
- Strong experience with workflow/automation platforms (Make.com, Zapier, n8n, Retool, Airtable Automations, etc.).
- A product mindset: you understand user problems and can design logical, structured solutions.
- Familiarity with sales processes or a strong interest in learning how outbound sales works.
- Ability to work with APIs, including authentication, webhooks, and JSON payloads.
- Experience with low-code platforms (Vibe coding, Bubble, Retool, Webflow Logic, etc.).
- Curiosity about AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source) and how they can power new product capabilities.
- A problem-solving, resourceful approach to debugging and experimenting.
- Basic comfort with software concepts such as testing, error handling, environments, and versioning.
- Strong communication and documentation habits.
- Experience shaping features or working in product discovery.
- Understanding of UX or ability to collaborate closely with designers.
- Experience setting up monitoring, logging, or lightweight test automation for workflows.
- Some scripting experience (JavaScript/Python) for custom logic when needed.
- Experience working in small, fast-moving product teams.
- A core role in a fast-growing AI startup, working directly with the founders.
- A direct line to the CTO and real influence on product, architecture, and direction.
- High ownership — what you build will ship quickly and be seen immediately by users.
- A culture that encourages experimentation, creativity, and rapid iteration.
- On-site collaboration in Oxford with a small, focused, high-energy team.
- Competitive salary with room to grow and potential share options as we scale.
