Salary: £29,344 £44,919

The Ideal Candidate: Curriculum Planning and Development:-
Develop and deliver an engaging Computing curriculum aligned with national standards.

Plan lessons that meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.

Deliver high-quality, engaging Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Teach key topics such as computer science, programming, digital literacy, and e-safety.

Use a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technology to enhance learning.

Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.

Regularly assess student progress using formative and summative assessments.

Provide constructive feedback to support student improvement.

Keep accurate records of progress, grades, and achievements.

Adapt teaching to support students of all abilities.

Provide additional support or challenge where appropriate to help every student reach their potential.

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about progress and key updates.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in parent teacher meetings.

Stay informed on developments in computing and digital education.

Engage in ongoing CPD to continuously enhance teaching practice.

Bachelor s degree in Education, Computing, Computer Science, or a related field (Master s desirable).

Teaching certification/licence for secondary education with a Computing specialism.

Proven experience teaching Computing at secondary level.

Strong knowledge of computer science, programming, and digital technologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
