We are looking for Band 5 Radiographers to join us at Morriston Hospital Radiology Department, Swansea, part of Swansea Bay University Health Board.
As a qualified or newly qualified Radiographer you will participate in a range of Imaging tasks within the X-Ray department.
You will be working as part of a vibrant and dynamic team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for Band 5 Radiographers to join our as part of a vibrant and dynamic team here at Morriston Hospital Radiology Department
You would promote an image of high professional skill and competence to all department users and to impress the public with attitudes and service provided by the Heath Board in general and by Radiographers in particular.
As a qualified or newly qualified Radiographer you will participate in a range of Imaging tasks within the X-Ray department.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications
- BSc Radiography or equivalent
- State Registration
- UK University Qualification
Skills
- Demonstrable clinical radiographic skills
- Adhere to and can demonstrate SBU Values & Behaviours
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate learned skills to junior staff
- Knowledge of radiation regulations
- IT competent - working knowledge of PACS, RIS, CR and/or DR
- UK hospital experience
- Welsh Language Skills are desirable levels 1 to 5 in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in Welsh
- Able to work on own initiative and unsupervised.
- Able to deal with patients presenting with a range of conditions
Experience
- Clinical Diagnostic Radiographic experience
- UK hospitals Experience
- Some post qualification experience of radiography
- Has up to date CPD portfolio
Other Essential Criteria
- Demonstrable communication abilities
- Ability to travel within geographical area.
- Able to work hours flexibly.
- Satisfactory Standard/Enhanced DBS clearance including an Adults and Childrens Barred List check (if required for post)
- Able to adapt to different work settings within the department
