Swansea University Health Board is offering an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to develop skills to become a Digital Apprentice Trainee within a busy Digital Operations team. This is a 21-month fixed-term developmental post which is supported with a qualification in NVQ level 2/3/4, offered through a local college provider.

Main duties of the job
This is a full-time post however, there is protected study leave once the course begins. The academic work will be supported by skills being developed within the Digital Operations team, supported by a mentor and line manager. The qualification will be supported by a combination of external training courses, shadowing senior staff, and internal training courses. This will enable the successful candidate to undertake the role effectively.
The individual should also have the enthusiasm and drive to complete the qualification whilst working full-time within the department.
All applicants must:
be aged 16+
be resident in the UK/EEA for the last three years
not be in any form of formal government-funded education qualifications
have a good general standard of GCSE education or equivalent
not have a Degree
flexible apFroach to work within normal working hours (37.5 hours per week)
