IT Support Engineer

We are pleased to be working with an expanding IT and telecom system consultancy seeking a technically capable IT Support Engineer to join their small but growing team providing remote and onsite support to customers and assisting with the management of network and infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to customers.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues.
  • Configure and deploy PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 user accounts and services.
  • Assist with firewall administration and network security.
  • Monitor customer systems and proactively resolve issues.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in an IT support role.
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Experience of configuring and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach.
  • Desirable skills would include experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune device management, Windows Server administration and Hyper-V or VMware.
