AI Practice Lead
We are seeking an experienced AI Practice Lead to define, grow, and lead a high-performing AI capability that delivers innovative, scalable, and responsible AI solutions for clients and internal stakeholders. This role combines strategic leadership, technical expertise, client engagement, and team development to drive successful AI adoption and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: AI Strategy & Practice Leadership
- Develop and execute the AI practice strategy, aligning capabilities, offerings, and delivery approaches with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Shape and evolve AI service offerings across machine learning, data science, generative AI, automation, and intelligent applications.
- Identify emerging trends, technologies, and industry developments to ensure the practice remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Establish frameworks, standards, and best practices for AI solution delivery.
AI Solution Delivery
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade AI and machine learning solutions, including predictive analytics and generative AI applications.
- Oversee the delivery of scalable, secure, and production-ready AI platforms and services.
- Ensure robust operational processes are in place, including model life cycle management, deployment automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Drive adoption of engineering excellence and operational best practices across AI projects.
Architecture & Innovation
- Define AI and data solution architectures that balance business value, technical feasibility, scalability, and sustainability.
- Provide technical leadership on complex engagements, ensuring solutions are aligned with organisational goals and industry best practice.
- Assess and introduce emerging technologies, tools, and platforms where they provide measurable business benefit.
- Champion innovation and the development of reusable assets, accelerators, and intellectual property.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with senior stakeholders to identify AI opportunities, assess organisational readiness, and define successful implementation strategies.
- Lead discovery workshops, strategy sessions, and solution design engagements.
- Serve as a trusted adviser, providing guidance on AI adoption, governance, risks, and value realisation.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for non-technical audiences.
Responsible AI & Governance
- Promote ethical and responsible AI principles across all engagements.
- Ensure AI solutions are delivered with appropriate transparency, explainability, fairness, security, and privacy considerations.
- Support compliance with relevant data protection regulations, industry standards, and organisational governance frameworks.
- Establish processes for AI risk management, monitoring, and assurance.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Build, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary AI teams, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation.
- Provide coaching, technical oversight, and professional development opportunities for consultants, engineers, and data specialists.
- Lead recruitment and talent development initiatives to support growth of the AI practice.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, delivery methodologies, and capability development across the wider organisation.
