Overview

As an Area Sales Manager at Synapto, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by prospecting, acquiring, and managing client accounts within your assigned territory. You will be the face of Synapto, representing our modern payment solutions to eCommerce businesses, SaaS platforms, and merchants. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the payment industry landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your designated territory through targeted prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.

Client Acquisition: Cultivate relationships with prospective clients, understanding their payment processing needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Product Presentation: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and value propositions of our payment solutions and services.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, introducers and partners, serving as a trusted advisor and point of contact for their ongoing payment processing needs.

Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, providing insights and recommendations to enhance sales strategies and tactics.

Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progression, and revenue forecasts using CRM software or other sales management tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in sales roles, with at least three years in the payment industry or related field.

• Strong understanding of payment processing technologies, merchant services, and financial products.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence clients at all levels.

• Proactive and self-motivated individual with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a track record of driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
