Integration Engineer

Role: Ecommerce Integration Engineer (Magento)

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000

Synchro are partnering with a leading UK distributor to hire an Ecommerce Integration Engineer to join their Web & IT team. The business runs a high-volume Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform fully integrated with ERP through custom development and automation tools.

In this role, you’ll maintain and enhance integrations between ecommerce, ERP, and third-party systems, ensuring smooth operations, accurate data, and efficient workflows. You’ll work closely with IT and business stakeholders on optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance ecommerce functionality, including payments, shipping, and third-party integrations
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data flows between Magento, ERP, and external systems
• Build and maintain integrations using automation platforms (Workato, Zapier, Power Automate, N8N)
• Improve workflows to reduce errors and increase efficiency
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
• Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement

Skills & Experience:

• Experience with ecommerce platforms (Magento / Adobe Commerce desirable)
• Experience with automation platforms (Workato, Zapier, Power Automate, N8N)
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar
• Ability to write SQL queries for troubleshooting
