Kapiti Support Analyst

Synechron is looking for a dedicated Kapiti/Equation Support Analyst to join the Technology Applications Support team of an international tier-1 bank. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support for key production applications and take ownership of production issues, resolve them promptly, and liaise with business users, technology teams, and vendors to ensure seamless operations.

Role:

  • Provide technical support for production applications such as Kapiti, GMM, OFAC, ensuring their availability, reliability, and stability
  • Take ownership of production issues and resolve them promptly following proper procedures
  • Liaise with business users, technology teams, and vendors to resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain support documentation and operational manuals, including disaster recovery plans
  • Manage change procedures, ensure compliance with standards, and oversee software packaging, testing, and sign-off processes
  • Provide after-hours on-call support and work on capacity planning and management
  • Support project deployment, system improvements, automation, and vendor management
  • Contribute to the continuous development and reuse of knowledge within the support teams

Experience:

  • Detailed knowledge of Kapiti and AS/400 systems
  • Over 5 years of experience in technology support or a similar role
  • Strong customer-focused experience
  • Highly experienced in technology, preferably within the financial services industry
  • Proven ability to manage incident and problem resolution, and support change management processes
  • Experience in vendor management, project support, and system automation

This is a multi year contract role inside IR35 - hybrid based from city office (x3 days in office)
