Senior BA (FXO experience)
Synechron is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with extensive FXO (Foreign Exchange Operations) experience to join our team working with a well known global bank. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analysing, designing, and implementing FXO processes and systems, ensuring they align with business objectives and enhance operational efficiencies.
Role:
- Gather, analyse, and document FXO business requirements from stakeholders
- Conduct detailed gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement and system enhancements
- Support the testing and validation of FXO systems and processes, ensuring alignment with business needs
- Provide subject matter expertise on FXO processes, regulations, and industry best practices
- Assist in the implementation of new FXO platforms, tools, and workflows
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to ensure operational effectiveness
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to FXO
- Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to translate requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to support process redesign and system development
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on FXO or foreign exchange operations
- Strong understanding of FX markets, products, and workflows
- Experience with FX trading platforms, risk management systems, and back-office processes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear documentation and technical specs
- Experience with process mapping, workflow design, and business process improvement methodologies
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior involvement in system implementation or transformation projects
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting FX operations
Role requires x3 day as week in SHEFFILED - Long term rolling contract - £450 Inside
