Senior Software Engineer
Job Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days in the office)

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team. The role focuses on building, enhancing, and supporting enterprise-grade financial systems, with strong exposure to Axway integration, SQL Server databases, and Unix-based environments. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support Axway-based integrations (API Management, B2B, file-based and messaging integrations)
- Build and optimize backend services using C# / .NET
- Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
- Work extensively in Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting and batch job support
- Support production systems, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, DevOps, and security
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, risk, and compliance standards
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation using DevOps tools
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Senior Software Developer in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Axway (API Gateway, integration flows, file transfers)
- Strong database skills with Microsoft SQL Server (T‐SQL)
- Solid experience working on Unix/Linux systems
- Proficiency in C# / .NET
- Experience with shell scripting and batch processing
- Understanding of financial systems, preferably Trade Finance or Cash Management
- Experience working in production support environments
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines)
