Senior DevOps Engineer - Red Hat SSO/Keycloak

This role requires SC Clearance

Location: London - Hybrid

Duration: 5 months

Our client, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the team running a high-availability, 24/7 payments platform. The immediate focus is supporting the migration of identity and access management to Red Hat SSO/Keycloak. Hands-on experience with this is essential, so please only apply if you can evidence it.

This is an on-premise environment. Engineers whose background is predominantly on-prem rather than cloud-native will be at a distinct advantage.

You will:

• Support the Keycloak/Red Hat SSO migration and the wider DevOps toolchain
• Own environment management and safe promotion of code from pre-prod to live
• Lead major incident response and participate in an OOH on-call rota (including start/end-of-day working patterns)
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to technology roadmaps
• Work in an agile, cross-functional engineering team

Must have:

• Red Hat SSO/Keycloak experience
• Strong on-prem Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Linux administration in high-availability production environments
• Terraform with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Observability tooling, ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana
• Production support experience including OOH release and on-call
• Incident-management leadership and a security-first mindset

Nice to have:

• Payments or financial systems background
• Red Hat, Oracle, Microsoft or Kafka certifications
• Some cloud exposure (Azure/AWS/GCP)
