We are looking for an experienced security cleared Java (Spring) Software Engineer development to join a large-scale public-sector technology programme on an initial short term contract.

This is a hands-on technical role combining software development and DevOps, you will work within an Agile delivery environment, developing and maintaining the tooling, services and integrations that support a complex technology platform.

The ideal candidate will be a strong Java Spring and CI/CD.

Essential Experience

• Security cleared currently (SC)
• commercial Java Spring development experience
• Experience with Kubernetes, GIT, CI/CD
• Experience working on large-scale public-sector technology programmes

We're looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about technology, takes ownership of their work and enjoys solving complex technical problems. You should be comfortable developing software as well as automating and supporting cloud platforms, with a willingness to learn new technologies and share knowledge across the team.

We are specifically looking for candidates with security clearance (SC), there is no flexibility on this requirement due to the project classification.
