SC Cleared Infrastructure Architect (HVR/Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)

We're recruiting for an experienced SC Cleared Infrastructure Architect/HVR Solution Architect to join a major public sector transformation programme, designing and delivering secure, cloud-based data integration solutions within a highly regulated environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in migrating Legacy Oracle data feeds into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), working with stakeholders across architecture, infrastructure, security and data teams to deliver a secure, production-ready solution.

The Role

You'll be responsible for designing and implementing HVR-based data integration architecture, ensuring secure and reliable replication of Legacy Oracle data feeds into a newly designed OCI landing zone.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing HVR data replication and ingestion solutions.
• Producing High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD).
• Supporting the design and implementation of secure Oracle Cloud Infrastructure landing zones.
• Installing and configuring HVR target environments within OCI.
• Defining data storage, life cycle, capacity and volumetric requirements.
• Supporting secure network connectivity and data transfer architecture.
• Leading governance activities and technical assurance documentation.
• Collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and integration.

Essential Skills

• Strong commercial experience with HVR data replication and ingestion technologies.
• Proven experience designing cloud data architectures, ideally within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Experience designing secure data landing zones and ingestion pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, storage and life cycle management.
• Experience producing HLD and LLD documentation.
• Knowledge of secure networking, encryption and data transfer principles.
• Experience working within highly regulated or secure environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and technical documentation skills.

Desirable Experience

• MOD, Defence or Government project experience.
• Oracle Database and OCI Object Storage.
• OCI networking and Data Integration services.
• Large-scale data migration or cloud transformation programmes.
• Experience supporting governance and security assurance processes.
