SC Cleared PKI SME

We are working in partnership with a global IT consultancy supporting a secure MOD-aligned customer and are seeking an experienced SC Cleared PKI SME to join on an initial 3-month engagement (with strong potential extension).

Role Overview:
As a PKI/Key & Certificate Services Senior Consultant, you will design, build, and deploy scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant PKI and Key Management solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. You'll support critical infrastructure projects ensuring compliance, automation, and resilience for high-security clients.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven expertise in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Key Management (BYOK/HYOK)

• Hands-on Certificate Management and automation experience

• Scripting proficiency: PowerShell, REST API, JSON

• Strong understanding of Cloud, Virtualization, and Networking fundamentals

• Experience with security best practices, automation, and infrastructure-as-code principles

Desirable:

• Secure Cloud/Managed Private Cloud experience

• Familiarity with Linux, Wintel, and containerization

• Strong communication and documentation skills

Due to the nature of the project, the successful candidate will have a valid UK SC Clearance prior to a start.
