SC Cleared Release Manager (SAS Data Integration, and SAS Viya)

We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to support a large-scale data and analytics programme within a secure government environment. The role sits within the Minerva platform team and will focus on increasing release management capacity to deliver critical enhancements to the Self-Assessment (SA) Registration Risking initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end release process across development, test, and production environments.

• Coordinate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure timely and quality software releases.

• Maintain configuration management standards using manifest files and structured release artefacts.

• Oversee packaging and deployment of SAS DI code (SPKs) and Oracle artefacts (clear-text files).

• Support migration activities from SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya 4, leveraging CI/CD practices.

• Facilitate release readiness reviews, go/no-go decisions, and post-release retrospectives.

• Ensure traceability and auditability of all release components and decisions.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Release Manager supporting large-scale or complex programmes.

• Strong technical background in SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Data Integration, and SAS Viya.

• Experience working with Oracle environments and CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent understanding of configuration management and the software testing life cycle.

• Strong communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will have a valid SC Clearance prior to the start.
