SC Cleared SAP PI/PO Integration Consultant

Worthing or Telford (Hybrid - 2 days onsite) | 6-Month Contract | £490/day (PAYE/Umbrella)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced SC Cleared SAP PI/PO Integration Consultant to join a major enterprise transformation programme within a leading global technology consultancy, supporting a high-profile UK organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex SAP integration projects, delivering robust Middleware solutions across enterprise platforms while collaborating with technical and functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP PI/PO integration solutions based on business and functional requirements.
• Develop integrations using SAP PI/PO 7.3, ABAP, SOAP, REST APIs, IDOCs, RFCs, and OData services.
• Produce technical documentation, including unit test documentation.
• Support build, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
• Work closely with functional consultants, architects, and testing teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, identify risks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

• Strong commercial experience with SAP PI/PO 7.3.
• Hands-on SAP integration development experience.
• Solid ABAP development skills.
• Experience with SOAP, REST APIs, IDOCs, RFCs, File and JDBC adapters.
• Ability to design end-to-end integration solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Desirable Skills

• PI Interface Design & Configuration.
• ABAP Proxy Development.
• User Defined Java Functions.
• Experience across SAP modules including FI, HR, CRM, TRM or PSCD.
• Knowledge of UNIX, SAP CTS+, WebMethods, or Microsoft technologies.
