SC Cleared Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst to join a growing team and support the maturity of an enterprise Software Asset Management function. This role is ideal for someone with strong administration and analytical skills, a solid understanding of software management and licensing, and the ability to work in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of software licenses, purchases, entitlements, deployments, and renewals to ensure compliance.

• Assist with preparation of renewal documentation, usage tracking, and reporting.

• Perform data entry, data quality checks, and generate reports to support compliance, optimisation, and audits.

• Support procurement and vendor engagement on licensing queries and renewals.

• Provide administrative and stakeholder support to the SAM team in day-to-day operations.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience in software management and licensing.

• SAP database experience (ideal) and strong Excel skills.

• Strong administration and organisational skills in a complex environment.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of licensing models (per-user, subscription, perpetual).

• Familiarity with SAM tools (eg, Flexera, ServiceNow, Snow).
