TeamCentre Configuration Engineer
We are seeking an experienced PLM & Configuration Engineer to support a secure engineering programme within the UK defence sector. This role focuses on Configuration Management and PLM governance, supporting engineering data, processes, and tool adoption across programmes.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Configuration & Data Management (CDM) and PLM governance frameworks, policies, and procedures

Ensure compliance with relevant standards including DEF STAN 05-57, JSP945, EIA-649C, ISO and AS standards

Provide functional input to resolve technical, project, and programme conflicts related to PLM/CDM
-
Support adoption of an integrated digital engineering and PLM environment

Create and maintain documentation for configurations, customisations, and processes

Develop and deliver user guides, work instructions, and training materials

Deliver end-user training and ongoing support on Teamcenter Unified

Work closely with engineering and project teams to embed best practices
Essential Skills & Experience

Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail

Solid understanding of Configuration Management principles and defence standards

Experience working with PLM systems, ideally Teamcenter Unified

Experience developing training materials and delivering user training

Logical, structured mindset with strong documentation skills
Desirable

Deeper expertise in Teamcenter architecture, modules, and functionality

Experience supporting engineering or product development environments
