Contract SC Cleared DevOps Tester (x2) - AWS Upgrade Programme

We are currently seeking 2x SC Cleared DevOps Testers to join a critical programme with our client, supporting a major AWS infrastructure upgrade used by a large number of high-profile end clients.
This is a hands-on DevOps role with a strong testing focus candidates must bring proven performance testing experience within DevOps environments. This is a non-negotiable requirement, as the team does not have capacity for upskilling.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the upgrade and optimisation of AWS infrastructure
- Design, build, and execute robust testing strategies within DevOps pipelines
- Contribute to (and ideally help create) test environments
- Deliver performance and automation testing across services
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure system reliability and quality
Required Experience
- Strong DevOps background with deep testing expertise (essential)
- Extensive experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter, Swagger, JUnit)
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Ansible
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins and/or Concourse
- Monitoring & logging: Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Logstash
- Code quality tools: SonarQube
- Experience working with HashiCorp Vault
- Familiarity with AWS environments
Nice to Have
- Experience creating test environments from scratch
- Exposure to Kubernetes (K8s) (limited involvement)
- Knowledge of firewall configurations (support provided)
Clearance
- Active SC Clearance is required
