IT Service Desk Analyst

IT Service Desk Analyst (SC) - Contract - Berkshire - £competitive

Synergize Consulting are now hiring for an IT Service Desk Analyst to work at a leading consultancy client of ours on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic support team and will provide support to a range of Cloud applications, ensuring resolution of issues is efficient and customer-led.

This role will require candidates to work fully onsite, and will be worked on a shift rota basis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide support/analysis for a range of cloud hosting and technology services, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes to maintain service stability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure service expectations and SLAs are met.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure best practices are followed in cloud hosting and infrastructure management.
  • Monitor service performance metrics and report on key operational insights.

Experience required:

  • Previous experience in an IT Support / Analyst role, with a working knowledge of Cloud applications, and AWS/Azure servers
  • Knowledge of IT service management, or technology operations processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent level of customer service and ability to meet agreed SLA's.
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service lifecycle management.
  • Flexibility as to working arrangements and shift rota patterns
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Due to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold, or be eligible and willing to undergo, a certain level of security clearance (SC).
