SAP FICO & PS Consultant

Our client, an award-winning SAP partner, are now looking to significantly expand their SAP business across the UK and Europe. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated SAP FICO & PS Consultant to join our well-established RunSAP FICO Team to assist in the support of BAU activities across multiple customers.

The role requires a significant focus on Project Systems (PS) across multiple customers. Therefore, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of understanding around PS configuration and key operational procedures , supported with an evidenced history of supporting Project Systems.

Additionally, you will have experience in any combination of the following SAP FICO modules: AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Product Costing, and Profit Centre Accounting . Experience in Treasury Management or Fiori is advantageous.

What you will be doing

  • Work closely with a varied customer base, providing advice and support on SAP FICO configuration and business processes .
  • Support and liaise with client teams to resolve issues, deliver solutions, and meet contractual obligations.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, building strong working relationships with colleagues and internal/external customers.
  • Support delivery of customer change, including:
  • Gathering and analysing requirements, defining, validating, and designing solutions.
  • Translating requirements into estimates and functional specifications, detailing SAP configuration, ABAP changes, and security requirements.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive test plans.
  • Establishing implementation and cutover plans and providing ongoing support.
  • From time to time, participate in short-term projects providing support for FICO-related activities.

We’re looking for people who have

  • Experience as an SAP FICO Consultant .
  • Excellent knowledge and proven experience in customizing and developing SAP FICO solutions , including ABAP programming and enhancements.
  • Strong understanding and experience of FICO-related business processes .
  • Experience in Functional Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, and defect management .
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent personal organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work at pace, managing workload to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
  • S/4HANA experience advantageous.
  • Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) advantageous.
