SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash (O2C) Lead

Our client, a leading global technology consultancy, is expanding its SAP capability across the UK and Europe as part of continued growth in its SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash (O2C) Lead to join a well-established SAP Consulting & Delivery team, supporting enterprise clients with modern SAP digital transformation initiatives.

***Please note: Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be sole British nationals, have lived and worked in the UK continuously for the past 5 years, and be willing to undergo SC Security vetting checks.

This role may be offered on a hybrid basis depending on project requirements, with UK-wide client site travel as needed.

The role focuses on the end-to-end delivery and leadership of SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash solutions, covering sales, billing, customer service, and revenue recognition processes. The successful candidate will demonstrate deep functional expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), strong consulting and leadership capability, and experience delivering complex SAP transformation programmes.

In addition, experience across multi-country deployments, integrated enterprise landscapes, and S/4HANA best practices will be highly advantageous.

Day-to-day duties may include:

  • Leading the design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash solutions across SD, billing, credit management, and revenue processes.
  • Running discovery and design workshops with Sales, Finance, and business stakeholders
  • Translating business requirements into scalable SAP O2C solution designs aligned with industry best practices.
  • Overseeing the configuration of SAP SD, including pricing, delivery, invoicing, returns, rebates, and intercompany processes.
  • Providing functional leadership across the project lifecycle (Discover, Explore, Realize, Deploy)
  • Reviewing and governing WRICEF objects, configuration, test scripts, data migration objects, and cutover plans.
  • Ensuring integration across FICO (AR), MM, TM, EWM, and other enterprise systems.
  • Supporting testing cycles including SIT, UAT, and go-live preparation.
  • Mentoring functional consultants and ensuring delivery alignment across project teams.
  • Supporting pre-sales activities including proposals, solution design, and estimations.

Essential:

  • Extensive experience delivering SAP Order to Cash solutions using SAP S/4HANA.
  • Strong functional expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) including pricing, billing, credit management, and returns processing.
  • Proven track record across multiple full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations.
  • Experience leading O2C workstreams or acting as a functional lead within large SAP programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of integration with FICO (especially Accounts Receivable) and logistics modules.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with experience working with senior business leaders.
  • Ability to lead teams of functional consultants and manage delivery across complex programmes.

Nice to have:

  • SAP S/4HANA Sales certification or related SAP credentials.
  • Experience with SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) or BRIM.
  • Exposure to RISE with SAP or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) integrations.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori applications and Output Management (Adobe Forms).
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology, Signavio, Solution Manager, or JIRA/Confluence.
  • working within regulated or high-assurance delivery environments.
