Technical Solution Architect (Cloud & Systems)
Hybrid remote – Offices in Bristol with some travel around South West U.K
Up to £75k + bonus + benefits
SC cleared (DV clearance would be highly advantageous)
We’re looking for a Technical Solution Architect with experience working within the Government, Defence or Nuclear industry who thrives on solving complex challenges and delivering impactful cloud and system architectures.
This is a client facing role where you’ll take the lead in designing and delivering innovative, secure, and scalable solutions across both public and private cloud environments.

Key experience
- Proven experience designing and delivering complex IT and cloud-based solutions
- Strong understanding of application architectures, infrastructure, and system security
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments
- Ability to engage effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership (including CxO level)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- A consultative mindset with the confidence to lead, guide, and influence
What you’ll be doing
- Lead end-to-end solution design and delivery, ensuring outcomes are on time, within budget, and aligned to business goals
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure architectures
- Act as a key advisor to stakeholders, confidently communicating complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging way
- Produce and review high-quality architecture designs and documentation
- Provide governance and oversight throughout the full solution lifecycle
- Champion best practices, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, technology driven solutions
