Syntax is looking for a talented Software Developer with strong C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, MVC, and JavaScript experience for a permanent career opportunity in Derby (Hybrid).

Syntax Consultancy is an independently owned IT services and recruitment business with 30+ years' experience of delivering IT solutions for an array of Public and Private sector organisations.

Key skills, experience + tasks include:

• Software Developer with a strong foundation in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core, along with proficiency in MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, MS SQL, TFS + DevOps practices.
• Technical Expertise: C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, MSSQL, TFS, DevOps and SQL Server databases.
• Working across all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment + maintenance.
• Developing high-quality, scalable and maintainable code that meets project requirements and industry standards.
• Troubleshooting + debugging software issues on existing systems and providing timely resolutions.
• Performing code reviews, providing constructive feedback + mentoring junior team members.
• Advantageous: React, Microservices, RESTful APIs, GraphQ, Azure Cloud Services, payment gateways, financial technologies, IT related Degree.
