Business Analyst -EuropeanSupply Chain & MerchandisingTechnology Team
SyscoEurope(whoseEuropeanoperating companies includeSysco GB, Sysco Ireland, Sysco France & Menigo in Sweden)are recruiting for a Business Analyst to join theEuropean Outbound Technologyfunctional areawithin the European Supply Chain & Merchandising Technology Team ona fixed term(12 months), full-time basis, reporting into theFunctional Lead.
Please note: GB travel will be a large part of this role, including staying away during the week. Due to this, a GB driving licence and your own transport is essential .
As the Business Analyst you will be a strong communicator, the successful candidate will function as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of IT solutions. This role will involve analysing and understanding business needs, translating them into technical requirements and documenting test scenarios, scripts, and user outcomes.
This role will be the consistent thread throughout the lifecycle of change, utilising strong analytical skill set to take business requirements through to successful delivery of a technical solution into the BAU teams.?Whilst not responsible for direct reports, there is an expectation of this role to help drive the community of Business Analysts that sit across the functional teams with best practice tools, techniques, and methodologies.
This role is offering a contract thatwillrequire travel commitment to our sites across Europe and as such a good degree of self-motivation and flexibility isrequired. The role willresidewithin the Supply Chain & Merchandising Technology function; however, may berequiredto spend time with business stakeholders on site across Europe as projects require, or work across other functional pillars asdeemednecessary.
This role is offering flexible hybrid working (1-2 days per week) fromyour localsite for team collaboration and meetings, so you must be with in a commutable distance.
Ability to speak French would be an advantage, though it is not a requirement for the role
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Responsible for gathering, documenting and interpreting business needs into succinct and concise functional and non-functional requirements
Responsible for documenting test scenarios,scriptsand user outcomes
Key role in communicating between the business and BT acting as a translator where necessary
Ability to document and understand high-level conceptual and contextual design and specifications
Planning and managing small scale change where needed
This role will often provide the consistent thread throughout the lifecycle of small medium change, utilising your strong analytical skill set to take business requirements through to support

Work horizontally with other business analyst to prioritise and collaborate where necessary
Deliver to internal processes to delivery business needs end to end

Ensure personal knowledge and exposure to business change opportunitiesremainsup to date,appropriateand relevant
About you:
To be successful in this role you must have the ability to build strong and long-lasting relationships with stakeholders through positive and proactive engagement. Transport experience is desirable, alongsidethe ability toask insightful questions to extract detailsrequiredfrom stakeholders. You willpossessa high levelof attention to detail and be organised with the ability to present and document information based on the needs of the project.Youllhave an analytical and inquisitive mindset and think tactically and strategically presenting options to solve problems.
